Clay and drawing are the two central media used for investigating the creative therapy process. One has the opportunity to explore and process one's emotional blocks, fears, attitudes, thoughts and feelings. Movement and bodywork are incorporated at a later stage to allow one to experience an additional form of creative expression. PERSONAL COUNSELING A program is designed to meet the individual and specific needs of each client. The work is conducted on a one-to-one basis for the initial 8 sessions and thereafter you have the option to join a small group. The sessions are conducted in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and aesthetic environment ideally suited to the process of personal growth. ABOUT ILANA SLOMOWITZ Ilana Slomowitz, an award winning ceramic muralist, artist, and dancer, has created substantial murals for many major public buildings in South Africa and Israel. As a highly experienced counselor and facilitator, Ilana has been conducting workshops for over 20 years in creativity, self-exploration, and communication skills. She has run workshops locally and internationally for large companies, groups and individuals. Since immigrating to Israel from South Africa, she acquired a degree in specialized physical education programs from the Wingate Institute and worked as a creative therapist for 6 years at a private retirement home. Ilana continues running workshops for organizations and groups aside from giving therapy sessions to individuals and groups.
